1.  Like James Bond, Napoleon Solo and April Dancer were the brainchildren of Ian Fleming. The show's creator, Norman Felton, enlisted erstwhile Navel Intelligence officer and novelist Fleming to come up with characters and premises for  The Man from U.N.C.L.E . The Bond author dreamt up Napoleon Solo and April Dancer (The Girl from U.N.C.L.E.). The working title for the series was  Ian Fleming's Solo . Sebastian Moran. In the backstory, Moran created the evil organization after his boss, Moriarity, went over the Reichenbach Falls. So, in a way,  The Man from U.N.C.L.E.  is a sequel to  Sherlock  — it is set in the same world. What was clearly meant to be the start of a franchise starring Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, Alicia Vikander, Hugh Grant, and, dare we even hope, Elizabeth Debicki seemed dead on arrival. But as is sometimes the case, U.N.C.L.E. seemed to find its audience once it left theaters and made its way into people’s homes. And according to Hammer, he gets asked about a sequel all the time. Well, has he got good news for you. "I don't think these cars were made for people," said the 6-foot-5 Hammer, filming a chase scene set in 1963 Berlin with co-stars Henry Cavill and Alicia Vikander. A stunt driver operated Cavill and Vikander's vintage Wartburg remotely from above as the cars performed a kind of side-by-side automotive ballet. Pop Culture Notebook: 'Community,' 'Avengers' and 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E.' on the horizon By Victor D. Joss Whedon’s superhero epic was both a critical success and a box office bonanza. By this point, fans are looking for a sign of weakness. But if there are any, they’re not evident in the trailers (...).   “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” (Aug. 14) : Henry Cavill — known for his previous roles as Jesus and Superman — gets a little more down to earth with this adaptation of the popular ’60s television show. And it’s hard to deny that Guy Ritchie’s take on the stylish spy drama is absolutely delectable. It’s hard not to grin while watching Cavill bouncing off Armie Hammer as a Russian spy. Entertainment Weekly 's Kevin P. Sullivan gave a B+ to the first trailer of The Man From UNCLE movie. It was the second highest rate of the week.  THE MAN FROM UNCLE (August 14) - Any movie with two leads out of the Handsome but Kinda Dull School for Acting is going to be a tough sell, yet Guy Ritchie's dependably frenetic direction livens up the Cold War antics to the point where both Armie Hammer and Henry Cavill appear to be having - could it be? - fun. The Man From UNCLE movie entered the Entertainment Weekly radar. The most prestigious show business/pop culture magazine in the world published its "First Look" on the film, due to premiere in August. Henry Cavill (as Napoleon Solo) is obviously the main attraction:  But the best joke was told by Armie Hammer. Hammer plays russian agent (and Solo's sidekick) Solo's sidekick. Hammer told Entertainment Weekly that to be prepared for the role, he "moved to Soviet Union for six years. It was time travel as well as location. The jet lag is a killer".

What British magazine Impact said about Man From UNCLE first trailer: 2015 seems to be a return for the spy genre. With  Kingsman: The Secret Service already proving to be a fun time and the latest bond film  Spectre  coming out in November, the first look at  The Man from U.N.C.L.E.  seems so packed full of style, charm, and excitement, that it’s a promising outlook for cinematic espionage.
