Wilson; Starring: Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Debicki) On a technical, visual level, “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” is one of the cleanest, clearest expressions of action of 2015. Each sequence is telegraphed, with easily discernable sight lines and an editing style that keeps a viewer’s eyes trained on exactly what director Guy Ritchie (“Snatch,” the “Sherlock Holmes” movies) wants. It is competence done to an extreme degree. Plus, you know, that Alicia Vikander knows how to dance. Her scene drunkenly swaying around to Solomon Burke’s “Cry to Me” is Charlie Chaplin-level physical comedy. She was already guaranteed to be a standout in my eyes based on her work in “Ex Machina” and “The Danish Girl” from this year, ...
