A few weeks ago  I spoke to Guy Ritchie  and mentioned the story about you and Lionel Wigram discussing a sequel to  The Man from U.N.C.L.E. . He didn’t know much about that and seemed shocked that movie has had a resurgence… Wait, when did you talk to him? How long ago was this? Around six weeks ago… Was this before  King Arthur  premiere or after the  King Arthur  premiere? Before. Okay, because he came into town for the premiere and we all had dinner: Guy, Lionel, myself, and Lynn Harris, who was one of the executives on the movie. And we all had dinner together and that’s when I told them. I was like, “So,  guys .” So, yes, it is completely conceivable that he didn’t know. After you interviewed him, probably about a week after that, sat down and was like, “So here’s the deal. We’re doing this.” He seemed very happy people were discovering it. Yeah, people bring it up quite a bit and it just makes me really happy for Guy and i...

BY  ANSHUL HARDIKAR  JUN 10, 2017   HT The Man from U.N.C.L.E  might not have been a really big hit but it has its fair share of fans. The spy-action comedy featured Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer as American and Russian spies respectively. TV3  reported that fans cheered as soon as news of a sequel being written surfaced online. But there is actually a story as to how this sequel came to be.  The Man from U.N.C.L.E   star Hammer revealed that it was because of his accidental revelation that the writers started work on the sequel’s script. It all began when  Hammer  was at a press conference for another movie. After he accidentally revealed that there would be a sequel to the movie at a press conference, he hit an email to director Guy Ritchie and co-writer Lionel Wigram. In the email, he mentioned about his goof up and asked till when can they get a script ready. As expected, the two were surprised at what Hammer had revealed....

Armie Hammer announced The Man From U.N.C.L.E. sequel prematurely 6th Jun 17 | Entertainment News Actor Armie Hammer had to convince Guy Ritchie and his collaborator Lionel Wigram to write a sequel to 2015's The Man From U.N.C.L.E. after prematurely announcing a follow-up was in development. The Social Network star had been promoting another film at a press event earlier this year (17) when one reporter expressed their admiration for Hammer's work in the action spy comedy, in which he featured alongside Henry Cavill and Alicia Vikander. Hammer was so flattered by the praise, he claimed another installment would soon be in the works - even though there had been no official news from either director Ritchie or co-screenwriter Wigram.  "It (the sequel rumour) started because I was doing a press conference and someone was like, 'Oh, we loved The Man From U.N.C.L.E.'," he told U.S. breakfast show Good Morning America, "and I was like, 'Well, yo...
