NCIS: Is Ducky Leaving the Show? Why David McCallum Might Not Return

Image
NCIS: Is Ducky Leaving the Show? Why David McCallum Might Not Return Jason Rossi   December 17, 2018 We can’t deny it — the CBS drama show NCIS is a ratings sensation. Even though it’s been on the air since 2003, it doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. Star and producer Mark Harmon’s net worth is through the roof, and as a collective, it has some of the highest-paid cast members on TV. Aside from Harmon, David McCallum, as Donald “Ducky” Mallard, is the only other actor to appear in every episode through 15 seasons, but that run might end soon. Here’s what we know about David McCallum’s future on NCIS. McCallum landed a starring role in the TV show The Man from U.N.C.L.E. in 1964, and he appeared in the British show Sapphire & Steele from 1979-82.  It’s a solid bet McCallum’s making six figures for each episode. He and some of his castmates got lowball contract offers from CBS in 2010, but given the show’s sustained success, McCallum’s paychecks are almo...

Some scenes from the unforgetable episode #25

Episode 25 is one of the best episode in the whole series. With guest stars Barbara Feldon and Cesar Romero, its clever script (by Dean Hargrove) deals with the "common life versus spy adventure" theme, so important in the UNCLE mythology. Second Reel: The Man from UNCLE (2015) Deserves a Sequel

Image
Posted by  Kaitlyn Booth   December 4, 2018 The Man from U.N.C.L.E.  is a 2015 movie adaptation of the  classic television show  of the  same name that ran  for 105 episodes from 1965 to 1968. In the age of reboots and considering how well the  Mission: Impossible  franchise did the jump from television to film, it isn’t surprising that they decided to give this one a try. There weren’t any stylized and old-school James Bond series at the time which is a niche that needed to be filled. It’s another project that fell into development hell with plenty of big names rumored to be interested in the project before it eventually fell to  Guy Ritchie . He then decided to bring on  Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer , and  Alicia Vikander . Unfortunately for the production, it seemed that timing was just not on their side. Warner Bros. decided to push the movie into mid-August which is an infamous dead zone for movie releases. It ende...
