FYI: This episode is a follow to The Mad-Mad Tea Party Affair with Dr. Egret as the villain. In the original the actress was Lee Meriweather. As in this case the actress is not the same, the explanation was due to a plastic surgery that would have changed her appearance. Another episode without much sense, losing the sense of adventure. The title is a nod to the big cinema hit The Guns of Navarone (1961) with David Niven and Gregory Peck. As one of the blonde girls is Sharon Tate. Four years later, already married to Polish film director Roman Polanski, Tate was murdered by Charles Manson manic followers.
