FYI: This episode is a follow up from "The Mad-Mad Tea Party Affair" with Dr. Egret as villain. In the first installment the actress was Lee Meriweather. The explanation for the change of actresses was a plastic surgery that would have changed Egret's appearance. Another episode without much sense, losing the sense of adventure. The title nods to cinema hit The Guns of Navarone (1961) with David Niven and Gregory Peck. One of the blonde girls is Sharon Tate who, four years later, already married to Polish film director Roman Polanski, was murdered by Charles Manson's maniac followers.
