Is 'The MAN From U.N.C.L.E. 2' Happening?

The Man From U.N.C.L.E was released in 2015, and there were previous talks the movie will have a sequel, yet there's still no news about it until now. But while there were reports about The Man From U.N.C.L.E. 2, the real question is: is the second movie still happening or not?

Previous reports revealed that there were ongoing talks about The Man From U.N.C.L.E 2, but even though this news might be true, fans probably need to wait for a while until the official announcement is made. The sequel is reportedly in the works, and the script was being written as well, yet no further details were revealed about the second movie.

If ever The Man From U.N.C.L.E. 2 is confirmed, lead stars Henry Cavill (plays Napoleon Solo) and Armie Hammer (Illya Kuryakin) will surely be back, alongside Elizabeth Debicki, Alicia Vikander, and Hugh Grant. Guy Richie directs the first movie, so he may be directing the sequel as well. Hammer shared some insights about the potential second movie and revealed in an interview in 2017 that he called the producer of the movie - Lionel Wigram.

The actor told the producer he's getting questions regarding the second movie and asked him to write a follow-up movie, and Wigram told Hammer he would write a sequel. But, it's still a long road for The Man From U.N.C.L.E. 2 as it needs to be given a green light first, and then needs to be shot, before getting an official release. Still, Hammer is positive about it and believes the movie will have a sequel at some point.
